What Faculty Are Saying

“Creating an asynchronous course from scratch seemed overwhelming, but working with an EHE Instructional Designer made the process fun, engaging, and manageable. I received outstanding SEI reports from students who were impressed by the newly designed course and inquired about taking similar courses in the future. Thank you!” – Alana Telesman, Ph.D. Director, First Education Experience Program (FEEP), Senior Lecturer, Special Education

“My experience with the course design camp emboldened me to take risks with some new online tools. At the same time, the knowledge gain impacted how I planned for my face-to-face courses as well, especially in terms of how I organized learning objectives and weekly assignment.” – Stephen Gavazzi, Ph.D. Professor, Human Development & Family Sciences

More Testimonials

“The course design camp was fabulous, and the instructors were so incredibly helpful and generous with their time. I would not have been able to provide high quality online instruction without this course and the assistance of the outstanding course design instructors! We are so fortunate in the College of EHE to have this incredible service!” – Laurice Joseph, Ph.D. Professor, School Psychology

“I never thought I would enjoy teaching an online course. I entered into the whole process skeptical and overwhelmed. But I am happy to report that I not only got through the experience but, with the hands-on help of an EHE instructional designer, actually found the both design process and the teaching fun. The designer I worked with met me where I was and provided the perfect balance of helping me get things done and teaching me how to do things on my own. And, most importantly, my students loved the course and learned a lot.” – Moira Konrad, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Special Education

“The EHE instructional design team has supported my projects big (e.g., designing a new course, redesigning for asynchronous/hybrid delivery modes) and small (e.g., developing Carmen modules, ensuring accessibility of course content). In our consultations they provide invaluable expertise, help problem solve and brainstorm, share ideas and resources, give demonstrations and opportunities to practice – meeting my immediate needs and adding more tools to my toolkit for future courses. I am a better instructor and my students achieve greater learning outcomes because of their support!” – Leeann M. Lower-Hoppe, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, Sport Management
