EHE Distance Curriculum Process

As part of EHE Assessment and Curriculum governance, all distance courses, programs, endorsements, and certificates must complete the following associated EHE processes.

Distance definitions:

Distance Courses: any course labeled as Distance Learning (DL), Distance Enhanced (DH), or Hybrid (HY).

  • Distance Learning (DL): delivered 100% online, 0% in-person
  • Distance Enhanced (DH): delivered between 75-99% online, 1-24% in-person
  • Hybrid (HY): delivered 25-74% online, 25-74% in-person

Distance Programs: any Program, Endorsement, or Certificate comprised of 50% or more courses that are offered at a distance (DL/DH/HY).

EHE Online Process:

Circle 2 states "Meet with CDLI to discuss your idea" with two arrows, one pointing to circle 3 and the other to circle 4. Circle 3 states "Idea aligns with EHE priority areas for development" and circle 4 states "Idea aligns with EHE & university priority areas for development."
